Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you all had a wonderful day and did something special. Yesterday, I went to a Valentine's Day party with my host sister, Ludmila, and four of her closest friends. We all had to wear an "accessoire rose" and we made a full pink dinner! We made salmon and rice for dinner and used food coloring to get them especially pink. We also had appetizers of pink sausages, a ham, tomato, and cheese dish, and some kind of pink bread! Also, we made pink cocktails—which was very interesting. For desert we made homemade cupcakes filled with chocolate and topped with sprinkles. They were delicious! Afterwards we watched a romantic love movie and then played games. It was a very fun evening and I really enjoy my new friends.
I have been feeling a lot better lately and have not been as homesick. However, I still miss everyone greatly but know that in five short months I will be home and this entire experience will be over. Therefore, I am forgetting the tears, and I am going to enjoy every second!
I received two letters in the mail today, from my Grandpa Jim and Grandma Sally, and another from Aunt Val, Uncle Jim, and Eddie. They made me really happy and I promise I will write back!

ReplyDeleteOhhhhh little Moo, sounds like you're all grown up. I'm so happy you are happy! Pics are so cute except those cupcakes, what happened????? Again, not much is going on around here; Chase won't stop calling Wyatt a freak and they keep getting into fights, the kids dance competition went well. They got 3 Championship awards (maybe more) and none of them messed up or had wardrobe malfunctions. And Valentines day was pretty uneventful, we ordered Lamppost. We miss you but are still thrilled for you. Enjoy your week!
